Privacy Policy
Peacee Tribute helps families and funeral partners create digital funeral programs, memorial pages, tribute spaces, and public share links. This policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and how to request help with privacy or content concerns.
Information We Collect
Peacee Tribute may collect account details such as your name, email address, login information, role, and account status. The platform may also collect memorial information, family details, life story or obituary text, funeral programme details, dates, locations, contact details, images, gallery photos, tribute messages, and optional tribute photo uploads.
For funeral parlor accounts, Peacee Tribute may collect business profile details, branding information, subscription-related account settings, team or admin relationships, and memorial pages linked to that funeral parlor.
How We Use Information
We use submitted information to provide account access, build and manage memorial pages, publish public memorial links, display funeral programme information, process tribute submissions, support funeral parlor-linked memorials, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
We may also use operational information to diagnose errors, review support requests, moderate content, protect accounts, and improve the memorial creation experience.
Public and Private Memorial Content
Private draft memorials are intended to be visible only to the account owner, authorized funeral parlor users where applicable, and authorized Super Admin users who support or administer the service.
Published memorial pages are public and may be accessed through a public link, QR code, search result, or shared message. Public pages may display memorial information, images, programme details, locations, contact links, funeral parlor branding, and approved tribute content.
You should only submit content that you are allowed to share and that is appropriate for public memorial use if the page is published.
Tributes and Visitor Submissions
Visitors may submit tribute messages and, where available, tribute photos. Submitted tributes may be reviewed, approved, hidden, restored, or deleted by authorized account holders or administrators. Approved tribute content may appear on the public memorial page.
Visitors should not submit private, sensitive, harmful, unlawful, or unauthorized content. Reported tribute content may be removed or restricted.
Analytics and Contact Clicks
Peacee Tribute may record basic usage and interaction information, such as memorial views, QR visits, share opens, and clicks on contact options like WhatsApp, phone, email, website, Facebook, or funeral parlor contact links. This helps account holders and funeral partners understand engagement and helps us monitor service reliability.
When you visit a public memorial, we may store a first-party referral cookie for up to 30 days to connect a later registration to that memorial. We record registration starts and confirmed new accounts for aggregate funeral partner reports. These reports do not show visitor identities or account details. Clearing cookies or registering on another device can prevent attribution.
Analytics information is used for operational reporting and service improvement. It should not be used to submit highly sensitive personal information.
Service Providers and Third Parties
Peacee Tribute uses trusted service providers to host, secure, authenticate, store, and operate the digital service. These may include hosting, database, authentication, storage, email, and support tools such as Vercel, Supabase, Google login services where enabled, and communication links such as email or WhatsApp.
Public memorial links may be shared outside Peacee Tribute by families, funeral parlors, visitors, or third-party messaging and social platforms. Once content is shared publicly, people who can access the link may view or reshare that public content.
Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect account access, private drafts, uploaded files, and administrative tools. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their login details and avoid uploading information that should not be stored or published online.
Authorized administrators may access account, memorial, parlor, or support-related information when needed to operate the service, provide support, investigate issues, moderate content, or meet legal and safety obligations.
Retention, Correction, and Removal
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, support published memorials, maintain account records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and operate backups or security logs.
You may request help correcting account or memorial information, removing content, unpublishing a memorial where available, or deleting information that is no longer needed. Some information may need to be retained where required for billing records, security, legal obligations, abuse prevention, or backup integrity.
Children and Sensitive Content
Memorial pages may include sensitive family information, including information about deceased persons, family members, children, funeral services, and places of remembrance. Account holders and contributors should take care when submitting details about living people, children, or private family matters.
If you believe sensitive information has been published without permission, contact support so the content can be reviewed.
Privacy Requests and Reports
To request access, correction, removal, unpublishing, or help with a privacy concern, contact support with the account email, memorial name or link, and a clear description of the request. We may need to verify that you are the account holder, funeral parlor representative, family representative, or otherwise authorized to request the change.
Privacy and content requests are reviewed in line with the service terms, operational requirements, and applicable law.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy as Peacee Tribute changes, when new features are added, or when legal, operational, or service-provider requirements change. The version published on this page is the current policy for the website.
